Meet Holistic Nutritionist Stacy Windreich
Stacy graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. After completing college, she proceeded to own an organic gardening business called From the Ground Up on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. Her love of people and propensity to help led her to integrate psychology and gardening to become a Horticultural Therapist consultant. Stacy has worked with adults with mental illness and brain injury, college students with developmental disabilities, and at-risk youth in various garden & farm settings. Stacy’s many world travels led her to Guatemala where she worked with malnourished babies. It was this experience that motivated her to return to school and study Nutrition.
In 2010, Stacy attended the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Vancouver, British Columbia. She graduated with the Canadian designation of a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN). Her education further fueled her love of people, health, and nutrition. Currently, Stacy is grateful to be living and working aligned with her passion of delicious, fresh foods, tons of fruits and veggies, and an active lifestyle of biking, hiking, yoga, and fun.
